My name is Tayler Kopp. I am a senior at the University of Mary where I am pursuing my degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am originally from Hazen, ND. I moved to Bismarck in the fall of 2014 and I have been living here ever since. I received my Associate of Science degree from Bismarck State College in 2016. In the spring of 2018, I decided to transfer to the University of Mary where I could not only pursue Elementary Education, but also Special Education. Becoming a teacher has always been a passion of mine and I know it would be a rewarding job. As a child, I looked up to my teachers as great role models. My teachers were encouraging, kind, and caring. They inspired me to become a teacher because I also want to be a positive influence in my students’ lives for the present time and for the future. I hope their experience with me will help shape them into good, responsible citizens and successful adults.
My favorite thing to do in my free time is spending time with my husband, our son, and our three dogs. We are also expected another child in April 2020. Some of my hobbies include playing volleyball, softball, dancing, being outdoors, and traveling. |
